  • 1.  Web Isolation "there is no access To localstorage"

    Hello; I have two errors in the Web Isolation, 1. “There is no access to the localstorage, Please contact your system administrator” : I found an article but it didn’t help me, I tested on all three browsers (Firefox, chrome and IE) but it doesn’t work. https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.TECH251774.html 2. “No Detailed diagnostic were found”: i didn't found nothing. Please find the screenshots of the errors in attachement. Thanks for helping me.

    Hi,

     

    In order to fix:
    In IE: run the following command as Administrator:
    icacls %userprofile%\Appdata\LocalLow /t /setintegritylevel (OI)(CI)L
    Internet options->Advanced->Security->Enable DOM Storage
    In Chrome: 
    Settings->Content Settings->Cookies->Allow sites to save and read cookie data
    Settings->Content Settings->Cookies->Disable "Block third-party cookies"
    In Firefox:
    Type "about:config" in the address bar. Look for "dom.storage.enabled" and make sure it is not set to false

    Hi Malek, 

    As discussed in Case 29172666:

    This error was due to faulty upstream ProxySG settings. 

    Feedback from our back-line team: <<"Policy should be defined via the cpl policy created on the isolation gw. you can specify the risk level in that policy. ">>
     

    As a rule of thumb: please always use the WI-management GUI/wizard to create downstream/upstream proxy CPL. 

     

    We'll keep working on this together once we'll manage to be available for a Webx.

    Hi Lorenzo, I am also facing this issues suddenly. It was working fine in the past. Need to know the solution everytime we cannot delete and create downstream proxy.

    Hi Aboonaim, 

    Have you created the CPL manually, or have you used the wizard available on the Web Isolation management GUI? 
    The latter is the right choice.

    As a rule of thumb this should not happen at all. When you say "everytime": how many times has this happened to you?
