    Hi;

    when we choose the surrogate for firewall/vpn as the cookie surrogate "captive portal". Does this mean that each new domain will have a new cookie set up for it for authentication?

    Kindly

    Wasfi

    Dear Wasfi,

    In Firewall/VPN method , you can define your source like which authnetication mode you required.

    Here the source would be Location,Location list, IP/Subnet , IP subnet list. Basis on that your authentication will work.

    Hi Wasfi,

              Cookie Surrogate will check for cookies set for the virtual url and in case of WSS, it is notify.bluecoat.com . The request will be redirected to this domain and cookie will be checked.
