Our team experienced a similar issue with cloned workstations that also had Virtualbox installed. The difference was we only ever had one workstation report in versus the 40 that should have been.
We traced down the issue to the "Primary lookup key" in the console. We think the Ghost agent was choosing to report in using the MAC address of the VirtualBox adapter versus the physical adapter. We fixed it by changing the setting under under Tools > Options > Global from within the console. For that room we changed it from 'MAC address' to 'Serial number'. Once that change was made all the workstations started to appear normally.

Subject: npcap / virtual box network adapter stops clients reporting to the GSS console (3.3 RU5)
Hello all,
Our computers have multiple NICs and some virtual network adapters such as Npcap (from Wireshark) and VirtualBox network adapter.
We have noticed that PCs with npcap and VirtualBox network adapter are not reporting to ghost console.
After intense troubleshooting with the network, we found no issue.
Then we start to disable network adapters one by one to see if it resolve the issue.
Disabling npcap and VirtualBox network adapters fixed the issue, however, we need this software on our images.
My question is how to get the PCs to report back with npcap/VirtualBox network adapter on the image?
Any help will be appreciated!
Thank you
Emmett
