I've gone through an upgrade using those exact commands and it works just fine.

Either of these methods work like a champ, so sounds like the winsetupautomation bit is disabled, or something within a custom action in your process could be breaking it.
If you are still having issues, I would submit a support ticket to the team and we can assist in troubleshooting what is going on.

"bootmgr image is corrupt the system cant boot..."<o:p></o:p>
How can I fix it to upgrade without an error.<o:p></o:p>
