    I am looking for the product ID / Code used in uninstall_agent64.bat for 15.5.0.17015

    I have a few workstations I am trying to update and do not have the uninstall product code/ID to remove this version.

    You need access to the "Symantec_DLP_15.5_Agent_Win-IN.zip" file downloaded from Broadcom/Symantec support site.
    You can see the location of this file in the zip file in the attachment.

    wmic product where "name like '%Agentinstall64%'" call uninstall /nointeractive   Note: on your own risk as this is a MS tool.

    msiexec /x AgentInstall64_15_0.msi -l*v uninstall.log

    I am looking for the uninstall string so I can add it to a SCCM package.

     

    The laptops are remote and I cannot get to them to run the generic uninstall package

     

    I need the product ID for the version in order to do a GUID uninstall.

    So, you are telling us you did not see the uninstall string in that link? It has them all, for multiple versions. If you are looking for something else, give us an example so we can understand, because I pretty positive the string is here .

    None if those product IDs work for v15.5.0.17015.

     

    I am trying to locate one of the laptops in order to remote into it and find the registry entry for the installation.

    Hi Jim.

    That build you are referencing was version #1 of the 15.5 GA build. As can happen, about a week later the build itself was re-published to correct an installer issue (server-side, not agent), but it was issued with a new version number.​

    My point here is that we don't have the GUID for that GA release in our knowledge-base (those details in the link others shared in this post).
    I do suggest you open a support case for additional help, as it may be you will need to have a copy of the "clean agent" in order to remove it. I believe it can be called via SCCM.

    Thank you all for your assistance.  After a lot of searching I found the installation folder and tools on a server.

    This issue has been resolved.
