 Discovered Items Not Updating

I am trying to determine how to force the update of a discovered application or file. I have updated software that was highlighted as a risk but the system hasn't updated in months and so is still showing as a risk. This is part of the SES Complete discovered Item tab. I want the discovery to run regularly, is this something I need to schedule just like daily scans? if so how?

I am also looking for a way to export a list of devices containing a particular detected file or applicaiton. I can see the list of devices that the application is on but there does not seem to be a way to export that list or report on it.
