Hi,
I'm using GhostCast Server 11.5.0.2113 and have been for many years, to re-image our fleet of Dell Latitude E6410 & E4310 laptops.
(I know,  they're old!!)
but I have recently purchased some refurbed Latitude E6430 laptops which I need to put the image onto.
But - I'm getting a problem..  PXE boot works fine and the GhostCast client loads fine - but I'm unable to connect to the Server GhostCast session
I get the 10030 error. Unable to establish contact with session.

I though it might be the switch but one of our E6410's works from the same network port.
I don't think there is any firewall on the 6430 laptops but I'm not sure how to check.
any pointers would be very much appreciated!
Many Thanks
Gav

Hey Gavin,

If everything else stays the same except for the model, the only item I can think of that it might be is the driver used for the NIC in WinPE/Automation. Have you tried adding an exact match NIC driver of that model from Dell to your preboot and then rebuilding it?

It could possibly be attempting to use a 'best match' driver that cannot accept the session protocol or type on that NIC.
