Hello everyone,

Trying to install ICDx on RHEL 8 I got the following error.

./installer install
ERROR[2020-12-08 09:10:06] Unsupported OS. ICDx Installer supports Ubuntu 16.04/18.04, Red Hat 7.4+, and CentOS 7.

My hostnamectl output:

Icon name: computer-vm
Chassis: vm
Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.2 (Ootpa)
CPE OS Name: cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux:8.2:GA
Kernel: Linux 4.18.0-193.14.3.el8_2.x86_64

Did anyone face the same issue?

Thanks

This is behavior by design. Per the system requirements, ICDx 1.4.1 supports RHEL and CentOS 7.4, 7.6, and 7.7, and Ubuntu 16.04/18.04. RHEL 8.x and Ubuntu 20.04 LTS support will come in later versions of ICDx.
