"The File 'wssad.exe' is not marked for installation." Error

Hey all,

I'm trying to get the WSS Agent installed on my computer (I have local admin rights), but every time I try to install, I get the error "The File 'wssad.exe' is not marked for installation." I found a similarly named error for the bcua agent (which I currently have installed) that suggested removing registry keys, which I have tried, but am still not seeing any success. I am assuming there are just different registry keys that I'm not aware of. Anyone know what these would be?

I am the same issue. I followed both KB https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/169318/wss-ua-installation-error-the-file-bcuas.html and https://knowledge.broadcom.com/external/article/169376/manually-uninstall-unified-agent.html  but it didn't work.  

I had WSS an old version and I de installed it, a now, I was trying to install the new release.
