 what does mean of avg_runtime Attribute and when to use for the job

Someone explains, when to use  avg_runtime Attribute at job level in AutoSys and what is used for?

Please find the answer below:

The avg_runtime attribute defines an average run time (in minutes) for a job that is newly submitted to the database. The attribute is used when the job has not run.

This will set an expectation for a new job to understand what is expected average run time.
