UIM 23.4.3

snmpcollector v5.01

Is there a "shortcut" to populate the "Component User Defined Property 1" for an individual service in snmpcollector (eg., interfaces)?

I am currently using this for my filtering of what interfaces to include in my template, but now I am setting up a new large environment, and it would be a pain to do this trough the GUI.

It is case 2 within this description that I am using:

How to exclude specific interfaces from snmpcollector template

For the hosts it is possible to do this through a csv-file as described in the bottom chapter here:

snmpcollector AC Configuration

It is not necessary to have nice solution like this, but it would be nice if i can change this in the db and/or config files.

I recommend logging it as an idea on our Ideation Platform:

I think that I might be able to use the PU utility temporary for populating this probe.

When I call pu -u administrator -p "password" /LAB-E6_domain/LAB-E6-HUB2/lab-e6-hub2/snmpcollector set_component_user_defined_property_1 D91a6540a205a06c936058bcadf3726e0 NormalizedPortInfo ifIndex=200 YES

I get no error messages, but no value appears in the GUI. I get the same result no matter what value I send in for componentKey (ifIndex=200). This is maybe because I have the wrong syntax for this attribute. I have searched the internet trying to find it, to no avail. Does anyone Know the correct syntax here?
