As part of our migration to SAP S/4, we have identified a mismatch: SAP S/4 enforces a stricter password policy than the one currently used across our other systems and Active Directory (AD), which is causing provisioning issues.

Is it possible for SAP passwords to override or interfere with users’ account passwords through the Account Template attribute?

Hi Thierry Nyonga,

You can define a custom attribute for the User and use the corresponding rule string for the Password field in the SAP Account Template. Please note that Identity Manager password policies may not apply to this attribute since it is a custom attribute.
