I'm new to Clarity so forgive my ignorance. Someone created Jaspersoft report that are no longer in use  and we are told jasperport will be decommissioned shortly. HOw do I delete these dashboard/report that were created with JAspersoft? Which menu I need to go to delete them? OR do I need jaspersoft studio to delete them?

Hi Guy

If you are the administrator of the system you can navigate to Advance Reporting --> Search for the report with the name and right click to delete the report and its dependencies.

If you have created a report defination in Clarity in order to run from Reports and Jobs then you will need to remove the defination by Navigating to Home --> Administration --> Data administration ---> Reports and Jobs and search for the defination and delete it.

Hope this helps.

How do I identify what is jaspersoft and what is not? Is there a way to find out if someone is using them?

Here are the ways to find out

On Premise Installation

  • Login to Clarity System Administration (aka CSA)
  • Navigate to Reports tab and you will see details about Jaspersoft URL and Org ID are populated
  • Now you can login to Clarity APP and Navigate to Advance reporting (see image below) you will see an app loads up and thats Jaspersoft.  Here is the detailed documentation Advanced Reporting with Jaspersoft
