Hi folks,
I would need your help to understand the settings of the ucybdbun.ini and some advice afterwards:
In the .ini there is a pair of entries which seems to be redundant to me, where I need to understand which is the relevant one for the deletion process:
- Under GENERAL there are reorg_Commit_sleep & CommitCount
- Under REORG there are reorg_Chunk_Size & reorg_Sleep_Time
Which setting is relevant for the deletion of old reports etc. or how does they interact with each other? We did a little try and error and the DB stayed responsive, but the deletion seems very slow so that we would need weeks to get rid of our 160M old reports. We went with the following settings:
- CommitCount of 5000
- reorg_Commit_sleep=30
- a reorg_Chunk_Size of 5000
- and reorg_Sleep_Time of 30
Any suggestions how to push the rate further - can we maybe go higher than 5000 deletions?
