Our organization is currently evaluating the implementation of BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification). This configuration is not carried out directly on Symantec Messaging Gateway (SMG) servers, but rather through DNS records. One of the key requirements is that the email infrastructure must be compatible with BIMI.
We already have SPF, DKIM, and DMARC properly configured and enforced, which provides a solid foundation for BIMI adoption.
At present, we use SMG for sending large volumes of notifications and marketing campaigns, so we are interested in incorporating this additional method of email authentication.
The specific question is: has anyone implemented BIMI in an email infrastructure based on SMG? Are there any technical details we should be aware of to ensure a successful integration?
