Autosys 112515 Unable to connect to the database server

Morning Al,

Try a new install of Autosys r24.2 ,  windows and sql server 

Error

Unable to connect to the data base server using the database client utility,

I've installed wcc database schema ok ,  

1433 port open and tested using test netconnection 

ODBC driver installed 

permissions are set for use.

is there something I'm missing here

Please check the installer log, it should be in the temporary folder.  The installer may not show complete error, but the log should show complete error.

Found out that server team didn't install sqlcmd - now connecting to DB
