One of the big advantages of the AWI over the JUI is that the AWI makes it possible to copy a unique URL for the object and share this URL with a colleague. There should be a Copy object URL function in the contextual menu that appears when one right-clicks on an object in the AWI. This function would place the object’s unique URL in the clipboard.

For example, if the user is logged in via SSO & auto-login to client 0001 in the system UC4_EXP, via the AWI host awi-exp2.mycompany.com, and one right-clicks on the object  UC0.EXP2.TEST#1_1.JOBP, and chooses Copy object URL from the contextual menu, the AWI would place this URL in the clipboard:

https://awi-exp2.mycompany.com/#pa/view/UC0.EXP2.TEST%231_1.JOBP&system=UC4_EXP2&client=0001&sso=yes&autologin=yes

The new Copy object URL function could for instance appear in the contextual menu below Create Link.

This function would make it easier to copy object URLs to emails, wiki pages, incidents, etc.

This is related to the idea AWI: ‘Copy object name’ contextual menu function.
