For message store and transmission between CA Dataminder server roles, could CA provide EAS 256 level encrption in CA Dataminder?

This has been reviewed and we can see the value of this request. It is something we will look to address in a future release. At this point, I will change the status to "wish-listed" as the first stage of moving this into development.

I think I found some additional details. Thank you.

 

Based on Switzerland regulator requirement, Citi need provide email supervision to satisfy regulation for Switzerland. But due to privacy law and encryption requirements in Switzerland, there is requirement to keep the supervision messages data in the Country.


Data will need to be securely transmitted to CMS using TLS/AES-256


This will be reviewed again on June 4, 2015.

CA Data Protection (DataMinder) is already FIPS 140-2 compliant using AES 128 as the cipher algorithm. Do you have a specific security requirement/ scenario for AES 256?
