We have Windows Servers 2016 in our environment, we did not found any Agent and option to monitor it.
Can you please look in to it, and let me know when we have the agent or/Solution to monitor it.
Please Suggest.(We are Using Ca UIM 8.31).
yes you can. Currently there is no limitation with running any of the robot 7.X with UIM 8.4X
One more thing. Is it possible to monitor a system with robot 7.93 in UIM 8.4 SP1?
Thank you Gene_Howard for clarifying.
You will want to use robot 7.93 or newer to support windows 2016.
We do not currently support Windows CORE version for monitoring this would be a separate enhancement request.
We have UIM 8.4 with the HUB version 7.80. Is it ok to install robot 7.80 or later version on Windows 2016 to monitor the server?
Also, can anyone provide the documentation on how to install robot on Windows 2016 Core (only command line)?
HUB probe version is only a requirement for Nimsoft agent v7.90.
The HUB probe should be v7.90 or later.
Please keep in mind - we have HUB v7.91 and Robot v7.91 today.
Hi Yu Ishitani,
Do you mean that we can install the Nimsoft agent 7.90 on windows 2016 server for adding under monitoring in UIM 8.4 SP2 or later version?
For standalone Robot, we support Windows 2016 with robot v7.90.
What is the status? can any please share the release date..
What is the status? Please add me to the Beta testing..
Do you have an ETA when the support for Windows 2016 will be available...
May I know an approximate release time when Windows Server 2016 will be supported? especially for robot_update?
Beta is planned for January, and we hope you'll be able to participate! I'll include those on this thread that have asked to join.
This will include support for core system probes, in addition to the robot itself.
Is there a beta yet?
Please include us in any beta testing. I take it that this will also include support for the core system probes cdm, processes, logmon, ntservices & ntperf?
I wanted to provide a quick update on this request. We're currently working on adding support for monitoring Windows Server 2016, and anticipate we'll be able to release this support in early 2017. All indications thus far are good and we're eager to make this available soon! Stay tuned!
Microsoft released it October 12, 2016 ( Microsoft's Windows Server 2016 hits general availability | ZDNet ).
What is the release date of windows server 2016?
