It is possible create a way to schedule Global sync task by minutes and by hour ?
I have a business requirement to auditing team and today I have to run global sync task every 1 hour manually
Any news Sarbdeep_Singh ?
Sarbdeep_Singh Hello !
Could you help us to review this idea ?
Nagesh_Jaiswal and kiran_diwakar any news for this idea ?
You would have to create them and offset the timezone manually.
The time set is what the servers are set to. A lot of customers will use UST for this reason.
Though I do like the idea of being able to select a timezone kiran_diwakar Nagesh_Jaiswal
Ho to create Multiple Sync Task to run in different timezones on differrent days based on teh device family?
Nagesh Hello !
Did you have a chance to review this idea ?
I really need run global sync task and I today I do that manually every 1 hour
the feature Matt was probably referring to is to associate multiple (different) schedules to a single item as possible with maintenance mode for devices. However, I can confirm ThiBorges statement: using the UI in version 9.4 there is no way to assign multiple schedules to the Global Sync Task.
I'm just looking at the UI and don't know why there is a different schedule dialog for Global Sync Task and maintenance mode.
Nagesh_Jaiswal until that Global Sync Task schedule management dialog is getting an overhaul, is there some action code to run against the Global Sync Task (e.g. using vnmsh) in order to start the task?
thanks and best regards,
Sure ThiBorges we will review this.
Matthew_Gay one question !
How can I add multiple schedules on Global Sync task ?
I try add but not work to me
I Understand Matthew_Gay for work around it is ok.
But why CA Dev cannot change the way of this kind of schedule work ?
In other NCM tools I have this kind of schedule.
My idea is propose something new to improve Spectrum NCM.
Thanks a lot for the reply, I would never think about create a lot of schedules and this clarify my mind.
Nagesh_Jaiswal, Matthew_Gay provided an excellent ideia to work around on my Business requirement (Schedule by minute or hour on ncm)
But I would appreciate if you can consider my idea with dev team
To get this done you would have to create multiple schedules for the Global Sync Task in OneClick.
Having them start one after the other when needed.
There is no way to do it with a single schedule but with multiple it is possible.
