Add a 'Last Occurred' timestamp to an alarm

Currently, only the first occurrence of an alarm creates a timestamp in the alarm and subsequent alarms only increment the 'Occurrences' field.  There is now programmatic method of determining the last occurrence of the alarm.  This makes it impossible to build scripts to automatically clear alarms based on their occurrence.  For example, we need to be able to build logic that can examine who an alarm is assigned to when the alarm last occurred to determine if the alarm should be automatically cleared:

- If an alarm is assigned to Troubleshooter Bob and hasn't had an occurrence within the last 12 hours, then clear it.
- If an alarm is assigned to Troubleshooter Joe and hasn't had an occurrence within the last 24 hours, then clear it.

Hello cj.bolton

I confirmed again with the engineers, this was delivered with Spectrum 9.4

Not sure what is happening in your environment, but it would be worthwhile to talk to your local support teams.

Ok. So this feature was never added in Spectrum 9.4 as stated in the July 24, 2014 comment above but added within HotFix 2 of Spectrum 9.4 as shown by Frank. Is there any better way this Wiki could be updated to tag the actual Spectrum version(s) these features are added to initially?

Right, I was going to respond back to cj.bolton

There is the new column that will automatically be added - you don't need to do anything.

I'm testing 9.4.2.1 and there is the new column available in the Alarm view:

How has this been delivered? I'm running Spectrum 9.4.1 and don't have the option of adding in any "Last Occurred" column for an alarm.

This is now delivered with Spectrum 9.4 that was announced GA last week.

Delmar aka Spectrum 9.4

Hi Kiran,

Is 'Delmar' Spectrum version 9.3.0? I would be interested trying this feature, either in a release or a patch.

Thanks.

Hello,

Again, this is an old one, but one of the highest voted enhancement. The team has already started working on it and we are including this in the next release of Spectrum, "Delmar".

If anyone wants to try it out earlier, please reach out to me,
