The UI we have in the AFM is pretty old and not Responsive enough. As the mobile usage exploded in recent years, every end user facing website out there should be responsive. We should have been there by now. We typically claim that we support mobile browsers. When we claim that we are only concerned on storing the CA AuthID on the mobile devices but not the actual UI (display).

There are Open Source Responsive UI frameworks that are available. Most widely used frameworks are Twitter Bootstrap ( http://getbootstrap.com/2.3.2/) and Foundation (http://foundation.zurb.com/)

AA AFM could be integrated with the Bootstrap Framework as its versions were approved by CA Tech Stack.

Advantages:

  1. Responsive, rich and cleaner UI.
  2. Better user experience.
  3. Mobile friendly UI.

Thank you for your contribution of an enhancement idea to the CA Community. CA is continually working to improve its software and services to best meet the needs of its customers. Your input is vital to that effort.

The CA Advanced Authentication Product Management team has reviewed your suggested enhancement. Based on our current strategy and roadmap priorities and the limited amount of community support for this idea, the CA Advanced Authentication Product Management has decided to not accept this idea into the product backlog. Therefore, it is being moved to a “Not Planned” status.

Agree, a modern , responsive UI for AFM is a must, which hasn't been updated in a while. Has this been taken into consideration yet by the Product Management?
