My current employer wants to use  the session linker (r12.52 series, and trying to move to r12.52 sp1 series).

We are required to use base logging so we have some ability to troubleshoot on the chance of error.

We have a mix of IIS 7.5, IIS 8.5 and Apache 2.2.x on WIndows, as well as Apache 2.2.x and Apache 2.4.x on Linux

As we have a push to Apache on Linux for a standard for servers.

Our primary method of rollover would be size, but a daily log roll would be nice as well. We also want to have this  on start up.

As i am sure others are interested in this, i encourage you to up vote and add in comments your server/os combinations and rolling methods so that CA  can gauge the best roll out otf this enhancement.

Thank you in  advance.

We have moved this into the under review category as we start looking at potential candidates for a future release.

BUMP

because not having a rolling log causes issues when you hit file size limit and running with no log is bad if an issue occurs.

So why not add the log rolling?

noticed i did  half a sentance. "As we have a push to Apache on Linux for a standard for servers." should read "As we have a push to Apache on Linux for a standard for servers, we would like apache on linux  as the top priority"

to help ca set priority on implementation, our preference is:

apache on linux

apache  on windows

iis  on windows
