I would like to see the enhanced ERROR HOLDDATA files be made available in the Download Manager in the CA Support website like the product downloads and the solution downloads are for manual retrieval. That way when obtaining the package you can get the current HOLDDATA file as well without resorting to locating a different webpage or running a manual batch job to obtain it. Our mainframe is prohibited from connecting to external sites so we must manually obtain the file and upload from our PC. Another option would be to make the current HOLDDATA page available via HTTPS instead of just FTP to allow download via a browser. Here is the link to the HOLDDATA page https://support.ca.com/us/product-content/recommended-reading/technical-document-index/downloading-holddata-and-assign-statements.html where the links on the page only go to FTP://FTP.CA.COM/ and as we are behind a firewall and the CA site uses many different IP Addresses we can't manually download any of the HOLDDATA files. Our security team will not put in firewall rules with just DNS and require the IP Address(es), protocols, and ports. They also want us to use secure FTP for downloading from external locations to our PC's. Anyway, I think it would be advantageous to be able to manually obtain the product software, PTF solutions, and error HOLDDATA all in one location using the Download Manager in the CA Support website.
