VNA should issue a notification/alert when there is a breakdown in communication with its connected products. VNA sends alarms to Spectrum and performance data to CAPM. If there is an error in VNA that results in it not being able to send data across (irrespective of the reason), it should record an alert or issue a notification/error/warning. We have a situation where VNA stops sending data (performance issue/bug/unknown problems). There is no indication of any problem until it is noticed on the alarm or performance dashboards. This can be missed completely and is an issue if we miss critical data.
