The UNLOAD-TASKS keyword defines the number of unload table space tasks to execute. Default value for this parameter is 1 and limit is 16, any value specified greater than 16 is reset to 16.
You have to be careful with this parameter, this parameter cannot be very high as it will consume a lot of resources or very low as performance will be affected. A value of 4 or 5 works fine for all the samples I have seen. As usually every customer has to test for the best value for their Jobs, CA Rapid Reorg Jobs will run differently depending on the size of the table space and resources available to run the Job.
Command -DISPLAY CA UTILID (utility-id*) ACTIVE is very useful to check progress about CA Rapid Reorg work, with this command and the messages in the Job output you will be able to see where the work is spent at any time. This command has been improved and in a Data Sharing system it can be run from any member of the Data Sharing Group to check Jobs running in other members.
