Per IBM’s published PTF OA48940 the returned data for SAPI requests may be different/incorrect when SSS2JVCR is being specified or defaulted.
It has been confirmed that the CA Spool V12.0 XFER SAPI interface is affected so you have to take action today.
Files transferred via the XFER SAPI interface with like attributes will not combine as they should.
IBM has created specific z/OS release maintenance to resolve the underlying problem.

Be aware that IBM has to be contacted to confirm the IBM APAR number and applicable PTFs for your specific z/OS system level. There is no circumvention to mitigate the reported problems other than to install the maintenance recommended by IBM. As of today, customers using CA Spool r11.7 are not impacted.
