Receiving "ICH408I:OMVS SEGM NOT DEFINED" message under release 11.6, is it fine to continue with this warning message?
The answer to this is: Yes, this ICH408I is only a warning message.
There are no consequences whatsoever if you do not have the OMVS segment defined.
Because the compiler is now written under C, the ICH408I warnings occur under release 11.x.
Despite the warnings, the CA Easytrieve programs will compile, link, and run without error.
