Anomaly Detection for Time Series Data in the Mainframe Ecosystem Using KDE

When:  Jul 1, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
Join us on July 1, 2020 at 11 a.m. ET (5 p.m. in Prague) and hear from Ing. Vitezslav Vit VLCEK, Ph.D., Software Architect at Mainframe Business Unit at Broadcom Inc. He is currently focusing on building a machine learning pipeline for anomaly detection systems.

During this webcast, we will discuss why anomaly detection is important and how it might simplify the daily life of system operators. We will discuss various anomaly detection approaches where we touch on the differences between generic and specifics models including univariate and multivariate models.

Then we will cover
KDE for time series data and some problems we have encountered during development. The webcast will conclude with how to scale anomaly detection model on z/OS including zIIP enablement.

This session is intended for anybody who would like to expand their skill set for anomaly detection. z/OS Java  coding experience is helpful but not needed.
