Zowe User Community Virtual Meetup

When:  Feb 13, 2020 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM (ET)
Join us on February 13, 2020, at 11 a.m. ET for an interactive session to learn how mainframers are leveraging the Open Mainframe Project's Zowe open-source framework for application development and operations.

Co-host: Joe Winchester, Senior Technical Staff Member, IBM & Zowe Leadership Committee

Co-host: Sujay Solomon, Chief Z DevOps Advocate, Broadcom & Zowe Onboarding Squad

Guest: Sean Frantti, Application Architect, PNC Financial Services & Zowe User

Agenda:

  • Short, facilitated presentation and discussion with our guest
  • Open forum Q&A*

*We’ve secured participation from several Zowe experts including the tool developers to respond to your questions. There is no minimum level of Zowe experience required to participate. Questions can relate to any of the framework’s components and will be addressed in the spirit of open source, where we all benefit by open dialogue and increased use. Sharing your experiences may also help the Zowe development squads prioritize roadmaps/backlogs.

All are welcome!  Please forward the invite to fellow users as well as those simply interested in learning more about Zowe, including Development and Operations leaders, Architects, and DevOps champions.

You will help shape future events! We’re planning to poll attendees to determine if there’s interest in establishing this an ongoing forum (hint: we’ll need volunteers). Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from peers, to share your experiences and to engage the experts.

Ground rules:

  • Safe space; no such thing as a bad question
  • Attendees can remain anonymous but, to build the community, openness/transparency is encouraged

Looking forward to meeting you, virtually.
