We are pleased to announce the availability of PTF LU08504, Email 2.0 enhancements. This PTF includes the following features:

    • Menu/Web Interface Email Panel Support: Users can create a copy of a Spool file that is ready to be emailed using the new Menu System E action on the File Display panel.
    • Extract User ID Default Email Address from ESM: The new DEFTOUSR=WAEMAIL option enables extraction of the file creator user ID email address from the WAEMAIL fields of the WORKATTR segment of the user profile in External Security Manager packages.
    • DESTID Support for Email Parameters: The DESTID initialization option has new email addressing and formatting parameters for which users can set default or forced values.
    • Intercept CSSMTP SYSOUT Email Files: This feature lets users enable redirection of CSSMTP SYSOUT email files to Spool.
    • USERMLIB and USERHTML Parameters for Email Print Driver: Users can now create and maintain their own MAILBOOK and HTMLFORM members using the new USERMLIB and USERHTML parameters.
    • MSG and FILEDESC Support for the CSSMTP Print Driver: Users can now specify a single line of text as the email body in files that are delivered as attachments by the CSSMTP print driver.
    • New Attachment File Type Support for CSSMTP Driver: The CSSMTP print driver can now process non-standard file attachment types such as CSV.
