Recommended Service Upgrade (RSU) 2201 is now available for VM: Backup HiDRO version 2.8. RSU-2201, which is offered in PTF LU06667, provides you with a verified, stable release, and new functionality, including:
- 64-Bit Support for HiDRO standalone restore from tape or CP PARM disk
- Support for running HiDRO Servers under zCMS in Z Architecture Mode
- z/VM 7.3 Compatibility
RSU-2201 is recommended to assist your organization with maintaining and optimizing your VM: Backup HiDRO installation. When you install RSU-2201, it updates your product with all previous PTFs. And, to maintain stable releases, and reduce the size of future updates, RSU-2201 is a prerequisite for all subsequent PTFs. For additional details, refer the following TechDocs articles:
