End of Support for Eclipse Plug-in RCPs

03-15-2019 12:01 PM

CA Technologies: A Broadcom Company has ended support for Eclipse plug-in RCPs, and the RCP is no longer packaged and delivered with the Eclipse plug-in.

The Eclipse plug-in RCP is also no longer available for download on the product update site. For more information, see the Eclipse user interface (UI) installation documentation for your product.

The CA Eclipse plug-in update site located at host:port/software has been replaced with the following resources:

  • A static page that displays the current server version
  • A link to the product documentation, where you can find Eclipse plug-in installation instructions and version-compatibility information

Hi Phil,

RCP is a shortcut for the Rich Client Platform, it was a standalone desktop version of our plug-ins.

All of our plug-ins (Endevor, MAT, Intertest & Symdump and FMP) can still be installed on any Eclipse-based IDE or CA DEz.

Best Regards,

What is RCP?  Does this relate to the Eclipse Plugin to Endevor?
