We're excited to announce that the Bridge for Git Explorer, a Visual Studio Code extension, is now available for download from the Visual Studio Code Marketplace. Ensure that you have version 1.50.0 or higher of Visual Studio Code to begin using the extension.
The Bridge for Git Explorer supports work environment synchronized repositories created with the CA Endevor Bridge for Git. If a developer is working with elements in the work environment only, she may find that she needs an element that exists up the CA Endevor map. The Bridge for Git Explorer will show the developer what is available up the map from her work environment. She can then search through the elements, view their details, and add what she needs to her synchronized repository. She can add just the element or the element with dependencies. The element is brought into the synchronized repository and can then be pulled into a local workspace.
To use the extension, ensure that you have Zowe CLI, the CA Endevor plug-in for Zowe CLI, and the CA Endevor Bridge for Git plug-in for Zowe CLI.
