  • 1.  Job Documentation viewed using the Workload Director

    Hello,

Can anyone help or recommend how to make job documentation available to view using the workload director? In the manual it has the steps below to edit and browse. However when I right click on a job I do not have the Edit Job Documentation in the shortcuts menu or Browse Job Documentation. Any help would be appreciated.
    1. In the Graphical View, double-click the generation of the Application that contains the job whose documentation you want to update.
A view of the Application appears in the right-hand pane.
    2. Open the Edit Job Documentation dialog using one of these methods:
    ■ In the right-hand pane, right-click the job, and select Edit Job Documentation from the shortcut menu.
    ■ Select the job in the right-hand pane. From the Action menu, select Job > Edit Job Documentation.
The Edit Job Documentation dialog appears.
    3. Edit the job documentation as required.
    4. Click Upload to save your changes to the mainframe.
    5. Click Cancel to leave the Edit Job Documentation dialog without making any changes.
To browse a job documentation entry
Follow steps 1 and 2 above, and this time select Browse Job Documentation

    Hi Keith,

I just tested here. If I have DOCLIB in my ESP Proc, then the two options "Edit Job Documentation" and "browse a job documentation" will show up.

    APPL DOCLIB
    JCLLIB 'ZHALI13.PSS.JCLLIB'
    DOCLIB 'ZHALI13.PSS.ESP'
    JOB CYBLZ.2 DOCMEM(CYBLZ)
    DUEOUT EXEC NOW
    RUN DAILY
    ENDJOB

Could you check if DOCLIB is defined in your ESP Proc?

    Thank you,

    Lucy
