We keep enhancing our product for your satisfaction.
    Two new versions of
    Code4z extensions are now available.

You can download Code4z with its latest plugins on Visual Studio Code Marketplace.

    What's new:

Code4z contains no longer the Bitlang third-party component! Please make sure to have only one extension for COBOL syntax awareness installed on your environment to avoid any interference between plugins! See more details in the COBOL Language Support section below.

    Debugger for Mainframe

We've have extended the support to debug your applications even if running in batch. Now Debugger for Mainframe version 1.2.0 provides a debugging interface for both: CA InterTest™ for CICS and CA InterTest™ Batch. The extension is available for free on VS Code marketplace: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=broadcomMFD.debugger-for-mainframe

See the changelog for the full list of updates.

    COBOL Language Support

This extension provides syntax awareness capability for COBOL code and copybooks. The new version 0.13.0 now provides support for syntax coloring, REPLACING for COPY statements, support for area/margin A and B, and other enhancements.
For the full list of updates, please see the changelog.

COBOL Language Support is an open-source project, please visit the GitHub repository to give us feedback or make your own contribution to the project: https://github.com/eclipse/che-che4z-lsp-for-cobol

The extension is available for free on VS Code marketplace: https://marketplace.visualstudio.com/items?itemName=broadcomMFD.cobol-language-support

    Note:
Since the syntax coloring feature is now supported, the third-party plugin from Bitlang is no longer required! Make sure only one plugin is installed on your environment to avoid any functionality conflicts.

Both extensions are also part of Che4z project which allows leveraging the plugins' functionalities also in the Kubernetes native cloud environment or Openshift. New versions of plugins are being released with new Che versions on regular bases.
