On behalf of the Easytrieve product team, it is my pleasure to announce General Availability of the Easytrieve Language Support for Visual Studio Code.
The Easytrieve extension brings open source-driven development with a simple, familiar experience that empowers developers with modern, shift-left capabilities that eliminate repetitive, manual tasks and fuel productivity, such as:
- Edit Easytrieve programs with ease of syntax coloring and error checking as well as with help of Hover, Go to Definition and Autocompletion functionality
- Compile and run programs from within the IDE locally or on the MF using ZOWE
- Generate JCLs from within the IDE and submit JCLs / EZT programs to the MF
