Hello CA Spool community!
CA Spool creates SMF data to record all major events and Spool operations. It is becoming more difficult to work with SMF from a skillset perspective; new administrators don't know how to work with SMF. And an integration perspective; it's hard for non-mainframe apps to consume SMF.
This new utility will enable users to read SMF data (subtype 11, subtype 12, and SMF type 6) and create a comma-separated value (CSV) output file. This file can then be imported into Microsoft Excel for analysis or to a business process such as a chargeback system.
This new feature requires the following PTFs to be applied: SO12826, and SO12579. To read more about this new enhancement
