Is it possible to change the name of the Collection Profile data set created ?
by default , this name is  : high-level.PDTCPR.profile-id.profile-ssid   , the second qualifier hard coded is a problem for the naming convention of some shops .

I think it is unlikely you can change the PDTCPR part of the profile name. There are processes that expect it to have PDTCPR.

What if you use a double level HLQ ?

    e.g

TEST.PRF.PDTCPR.profile-id.profile-ssid    so making PDTCPR a third level qualifier?

What specifically about PDTCPR as a dataset name qualifier is causing a problem?

The high-level qualified can be a name with more than one qualifier, the only restriction is 17 characters in length.

The following is from Help panel:

    >>>
    Field: High Level

Description: Enter the profile dataset high level
qualifier. This field can be up to 17 characters in length.
    <<<

I created a Collection Profile with "Profile ID ==> RAUJO02B" and "High Level ==> PDTDBA.R190.TEST"

The VSAM data set name created was:

    PDTDBA.R190.TEST.PDTCPR.RAUJO02B.D11A
    PDTDBA.R190.TEST.PDTCPR.RAUJO02B.D11A.DATA
    PDTDBA.R190.TEST.PDTCPR.RAUJO02B.D11A.INDEX

    Thanks.
