Hopefully by now MICS administrators have taken time to review and update the MICS sharedprefix.MICS.PARMS(CPLXZONE) member with future year holidays and also possibly 13MONTHYEAR calendar date entries.  And you can use the MICS SCHEDULE facility (with the TEST parameter) to exercise the MICS/SAS assignment logic -- see PIOM Chapter 4 discussion for details about "year-end processing considerations".

It's year-end again !!  Hoping to raise visibility with MICS administrators about importance with maintaining a healthy MICS ZONE definition setup, most often using the sharedprefix.MICS.PARMS(CPLXZONE) member, for past/future HOLIDAYs, and as well a MICS site's "business calendar" usually up to 5 ZONE values defined.  Here's a tip:  don't even consider using the MICS-sample member, as it is woefully incomplete and mostly unusable for the DAYTIME, EVENING, NIGHT and WEEKEND definitions.

How about others consider chiming in here for the overall MICS community benefit and share about how MICS ZONE definition is exploited for data-retrieval, summary-level reporting, and trending analysis (higher time-spans) ?

    Happy Holidays 2020/2021 !!
