VCC6680 required for sites that apply z/OS support for z13 hardware

    CA MICS sites that run the VCC Storage Collector should ensure they are at VCC6680 or higher before applying z/OS support for z13 hardware.  VCC6680 was delivered with CA MICS 12.7; however, some sites have applied the maintenance but not copied the new modules to thier APF authorized libraries. The error that occurs when an older release of the load module is used is a 0C4 -

    VCCCN33E CA MICS DASD Space Collector ABEND S0C4 Rsn(00000011) during processing daily update.

     

    You can check the PSP level for VCC by reviewing the VCCVTMSG log of your VCC output.
