Hello CA Dispatch users and fellow community members,

Some of you may very well have seen this error message before. It's caused by a simple mistake that is very easy to make. The good news is that the error is easily resolved!

This particular error indicates 1 of 2 things. The first unlikely but possible cause for the error is if the CAS9/CAIRIM job that initializes the CA Dispatch SVC and loads the CADZSPLx environments related modules into memory was NOT successful. Or, the second and more likely cause would be that you are issuing a /S CADZSPLx command (Notice the "CADZ") instead of the required /S CADDSPLx command (Notice the "CADD"). You cannot issue a start/submit command for the CADZSPLx task directly.

To bring up the CADZSPLx environment, you must issue the start/submit command against the CADDSPLx process. This submits the environments initialization routine that, when successful, will automatically/dynamically start the CADZSPLx task.

So, if you see this error during startup, go back and issue the correct /S CADDSPLx command and you should be good to go!

I hope you find the above information useful. Until next time, take care!

    Regards,

    Scott London
