I'm on R11.5. my maclib does not have GETDSN or PARSE. Where can I get copies? I'm also getting compile errors using DATEVAL.

    I called George.

I confirmed for George that GETDSN and PARSE are not CA Easytrieve macros, delivered in any of our releases.

They are also not delivered in our PanAudit Plus or Toolkit products.

    DATEVAL is ours.

I will contact George at 12:00 my time (10:00 his time) to further discuss/get a listing of the specific errors he is encountering with the DATEVAL macro.

    This is the DATEVAL error

    i found

As far as GETDSN is concerned, I found some Google references to %GETDSN

and so assumed it was an EZ macro

    I called George.

Question has been answered regarding two macros GETDSN and PARSE as not being a part of/delivered with the CA Easytrieve, CA Panaudit Plus, and CA Toolkit products.  George is very correct in that the '%' indicates that these are macros invoked by CA Easytrieve product.  However, these macros are not part of the macros we deliver to the clients.

George is still getting an EZTC0125E compiler error on the DATEVAL macro, which we do deliver.

Case 476901 has now been opened to address this and request specific documentation with the CA Easytrieve debugging parms included.
