    Hennie,

    Do you use the SMF data as input or use one of the SYSVIEW datasets:

    CICSLOGR.TRAN

    CICSLOGR.TSUM

    CICSLOGR.SYSD

    CICSLOGR.XLOG

    Hi Brad,
    For the Sysview report writer you can use the (offloaded) SMF datasets, or the LOGGER datasets..

    See these statements in the $SAMPJCL member (in CNM$RSAM) :

    //***************************************************************
    //*TAPSMF DD DISP=SHR,DSN=&SMFIN, *
    //* SUBSYS=(LOGR,GSVXLGEX, *
    //* 'FROM=OLDEST,TO=YOUNGEST,LOCAL', *
    //* 'STATS,EXPAND,BACKWARD,NORDW'), *
    //* DCB=(DSORG=PS,RECFM=VB,LRECL=32756,BLKSIZE=32760)*
    //* *
    //* Remember to include OPTION(MAXTO=NO) in SYSIN when using *
    //* BACKWARD extraction. *
    //* *
    //***************************************************************
    //*
    //TAPSMF DD DISP=SHR,DSN=smfdata

    The current uncommented statements is the SMF dataset...
    The TAPSMF DD statement on comment is the one for a (active) logger dataset...
    See this page in the manual:

    Best regards

    I found another way. While in the ISPF interface displaying the CTEMPSTG panel, I can do a 'PRINT ALL' and it will print all the queues to a DD on my TSO user ID and then I can print that DD to a sequential data set.

    Hi Brad,
    Nice to see you found a solution...

    If you want to have the data in a sequential dataset, you could also use the Sysview Batch interface and run a batch job writing the output to a dataset..

    See : https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/ca-mainframe-software/performance-and-storage/ca-sysview-performance-management/16-0/administrating/use-the-batch-interface.html
