    Hello,
I have a question regarding this message, which I saw on one our test system during logon to the sysview

    GSVX737E XMDS req 0113 failed in ASID 0063, rc 00000010 rs 00000020 ec 00000000
    00000000
    ***
    I have found in manual:

    GSVX737E <id> req <rq> failed in ASID <asid>, rc <rc> rs <rs> ec <err1> <err2>
    Informational only.

Do you guys have any clue, what it this message is about?
In sysview Joblog, there are no errors messages.
    Thank you for any response.

    Br,
    Jan

    Hi Jan,

I checked the message and found some information in an older release of CA Sysview..

When a very large number of jobs (in the tens of thousands) exist on the
JES2 spool volumes, the buffer required to hold the JCTs for all of those
jobs exceeds the maximum data buffer size allowed by SYSVIEW. This causes
various SYSVIEW commands which display JES2 job information, such as
LISTHELD, LISTINP, LISTJOBS, and JOBSUM, to fail with an error message.

SYSVIEW commands that display JES2 job information may fail with the
    following error message:

GSVX737E XMDS req 0703 failed in ASID xxxx - rc 00000010 rs 00000020 ec xxxxx

Whether or not the error message is issued depends on the total number of
jobs on the JES2 spool, NOT on the number of jobs in the subset of jobs
    being displayed.

However for the error, there were some ptfs developed for the older releases..
We didnt see the error occur on the latest releases however..
If you are current on release and maintenance, i would advise you to raise a case at support and let us investigate it.

    Best regards,
    Hennie Hermans

    Hello Hennie,
Could you please help me to know which PTF solves the problem? I just installed the latest CAR2004 on my system (and upgraded from Sysview from V15 to V16) and I get the same error GSVX737E.

Thank you for the help in advance.

    Hi Varadi,
The previous client, Jan, installed some additional ptfs upto the actual date..
I've a ptf for rel 16.0 and 15.0 of CA Sysview which would solve the GSVX737E message..

For CA Sysview rel 15.0 it is solution SO13119 Title: GSVX176E S0C4 ISSUING COMMANDS ON MQ 9.1.5
and for the rel 16.0 it's solution SO13116 Title: GSVX176E S0C4 ISSUING COMMANDS ON MQ 9.1.5

    Best regards

    Hello,

Latest PTFs installed, SO13116 either. There is no problem to call Sysview, I can work with it, but when I leave it (F3) the following message came up:
    GSVX737E XMDS req 0102 failed in ASID n/a, rc 00000008 rs 00000001 ec 00000000
    00000000

I could not find more information in syslog and STC log.

    BR, Marta

    Hi Marta,
Please open a case at our Broadcom support website. We need to see the entire documentation and investigate this more properly.
