No. The SYSVIEW Datacom option only gathers data real-time and displays it. There is no periodic data collection going on in the background like you have for CICS, MQ, IMS, etc., and thus no built-in thresholding is possible. The only option today would be to make use of the SYSVIEW REXX API from CA GSS or an automation product like CA OPS/MVS, where you could periodically interrogate the DCTASKS display and invoke REQABORT based on the data.

Within CICS one can set tresholds via CTHRESH, based upon many parameters.
Within DATACOM we have similar occasions where we need to perform a REQABORT of a task, based upon e.g. runtime.
We would like to have things automated, like with CTHRESH.
Does the Sysview/Datacom component have the possibility to set thresholds, so that tasks can be cancelled/reqabort based on thresholds ?
