    Good afternoon,

I wonder if the LIFETIME metric of CTHRESH, sends clear. If yes, where can I collect this clear shipping evidence?

I tried to find it on LGLOGS and did not find it.

Here is an example of configured metrics:

    Felix,

This seems quite similar to your previous post:

How to Clear Sysview's LIFETIME Alerts in Spectrum?

In that thread I attempted to explain there is no concept of an alert clear for an individual instance or execution of a transaction.

Your example threshold above has Type * which means it applies to both individual instances of tranid EYE7, as well as a summary of all EYE7 transactions that executed in the prior minute.  A threshold triggered for an individual execution of EYE7 will show type TRANDYN and/or TRANEND - there will be no clear for this alert.  A threshold triggered for the minute summary of all EYE7's that executed will show type TRANSYS - there will be a clear (e.g. return to NORMAL status) for this one once the average value falls below .75 seconds.  And a reminder that you would need a definition on CSTATUS for LIFETIME EYE7 in order for the TRANSYS threshold to function.

    Regards,

    Doug
