  • 1.  MQ monitoring strange behaviour

    Hi,

I have some strange behaviour in MQ for sysview.  In joblog i dont have any errors

GSVX702I(MQSDATA) IBM MQ monitoring for Qmgr MQLT connected
GSVX702I(MQSDATA) IBM MQ monitoring for Qmgr MQL1 connected

and everything looks nice and working,

but.... when i try to put cmd MQRSUMM or MQRTRACE I got  not active or  qmgr not found. Mqrstat show no data etc. Do you know where could be the problem ?

I tried to select MQLT or MQL1 but either for both nothing happend ( We have sysview 15.0 ptf package  6 )

    Martin,

These two commands require that the MONITOR-MQS-REQUESTS parameter in MQSDATA parmlib be set to YES. In 14.1 and later this value was set to NO by default to reduce overhead out of the box. If you update the parameter and restart the MQSDATA collector task then you should start seeing data for these commands.
