  • 1.  support portal is not working

I have been unable to use the Mainframe software download portal for the past 2 days.  I keep getting sent back to the login page or the browser hangs.  I was able to use the case management page yesterday but that is not working today so I am unable to update or create support cases.

    Hi mark.lawrence2.2

We are able to access the support portal on our end without any issues. Could you please clear cache, cookies and try to login (Recommended browser is Chrome)? If this doesn't work, try to login using the private browser or incognito window. Let me know if you are still facing the issue.

I cleared my cache and cookies in chrome and I am still having the problem.  We don't appear to have the incognito browse option available at my site.

As part of investigating something else, I clicked on https://support.broadcom.com/mainframe-software on support.broadcom.com as well.

That hang for me too. A short while later it works.

You might want to start doing some web QA at Broadcom and maybe correlate web requests against support.broadcom.com against the responses from the respective downstream systems, or look at the delivery performance of the downstream systems in general. Not just from the LAN but from sites across the world and with various browsers. I think you should find that to be revealing.

I also found that going to support.broadcom.com with IE11 today results in an endless loading animation as well, which is kind of in a similar avenue.

    Kind regards,
