    I am being asked for Symantec Cloud web and mail serial or subscription number  by our reseller  so we can renew or repurchase it, but all we have is its account number which i can supply.  In previous years symantec just invoiced us - i don't remember any serial number. Can customer care find it ?

    it is active and working. My company is pulled. Can I email you privately with the Email cloud protection account id and the Symantec customer number from our 2018/19 invoice ?

    Our email cloud security account  id  is pulled. Our last Symantec invoice  customer number was pulled.

    Yes, I did receive your email. Actually your request was pending with our Customer Care Team which was processed and your account set up correctly now. Advise you to please login to support portal and confirm if everything is working fine.

    Thanks, all working now. I congratulate you on the quality of your service. It is in stark contrast to customer care phone support, which is totally useless. They seemed to have no procedure for resolving  this problem and no interest in getting one. As noted by other members, use this forum to get results ; forget phone support.

    I now have another two problems. The entitlements under my accounts from 10 day ago have disappeared and been replaced with one for an associated body with a displayed user name I do not recognise and for a product we do not have. In addition although we have sent our subscription id to them our reseller still  states we cannot renew the licence but must buy a new one.  They earlier stated if we bought a new one we would not have our email setup carried across. Obviously we do not want any interruption in service. As mentioned, we are Symantec Email  Cloud users.

    Good news - my entitlements have been restored. Also Broadcom are in touch with our reseller and have assured us a new licence can be mapped to an old account, so hopefully nearly there.
